Daley reads to Unionville students for March is Reading Month

LANSING, Mich. — State Sen. Kevin Daley continued his March is Reading Month visits with a stop in Unionville on Monday.

Daley visited Christ the King’s Unionville Campus and read to pre-K, kindergarten and first-grade students.

“Reading to children can foster their interest in learning and helps them develop necessary skills for a successful academic career,” said Daley, R-Lum. “I always enjoy meeting students and watching their eager young faces as they listen along. I want to thank Christ the King staff for welcoming me to read to their students.”

In an effort to promote the importance of reading, Daley has visited schools and read to students throughout the month of March.
